Le Picardie® series - made up of plates and glasses - was created in 1954 by Duralex® and has quickly established itself over the years as an icon of tableware.

IMPACT AND CHIP RESISTANT, EXTREMELY DURABLE
Duralex® tempered glass is 2.5 times stronger than ordinary glass.
SHOCK RESISTANT
Duralex® is manufactured to withstand sudden temperature extremes from -4°F to 212°F and is suitable for hot or cold liquids.

Recommendations for all products.
* Do not use our products in the oven except for our OVENCHEF® range which includes roasting dishes and ramekins.
* Do not use our products directly over a flame.
* Do not expose our products to a sudden change of temperature of more than 130°C/266°F.
* Do not use a damaged or chipped product (risk to the user).
* Avoid scratching the products' surface.
Cleaning
* Wash before use.
* Soak the dish in soapy water for 20 minutes.
* Do not use metallic sponges, pads, powders or abrasives.
* To remove hard water stains, try vinegar. If this doesn't work, we suggest trying a hard water product called LemiShine which can be found at the local grocery store. Then trying soaking your glassware in LemiShine and warm water.

I didn’t receive 6 of the large tumblers with my order. Instead, I received 12 small tumblers and 6 medium tumblers. I was supposed to get 6 of each. I contacted Duralex via email and have not heard back. I’m hoping they will correct the order. But I’m not optimistic. The glasses I do have are great.

I purchased this 18 piece set over a year ago and am so pleased, I'm back for another set to add to it. The first set has been used daily, stacked in our cabinets, and more than once I've dropped a glass while emptying the dishwasher. They still look and work great -- not even one chip in the glass. I'd buy two sets this time but no room in the cabinets -- yet.
