A Classic
A gift from a loved one, I am thoroughly enjoying using them. A good size, too. Merci!
the same as ever
I grew up with Duralex glasses and we still have some, more-than-a-few decades later. We lost some over time, with loss from college/apartment roommates, frequent moves and rare breakage, we didn't have enough 8.5 oz ones. The only difference between the new and the old is the patina of scratches on the old (my mother was a fierce dishwasher). Since the first group lasted over 30 years (maybe 40?), this grandmother won't be back when the current supply runs out, though my daughter or grandson may. I love them. They hold the right amount, are comfortable in the hand, don't tip easily, and don't break easily.
