Its a beautiful small glass but it is quite small. The 13cl capacity is if the glass is filled to the brim and what makes this glass even smaller for Americans is that 13cl is not 4 5/8 fl. oz. it is more like 4 2/5 fl oz so about 5% smaller than I was expecting....Bear this in mind before ordering.

I’ve been using these as my preferred wine glasses for many years. Though they are definitely break resistant, time does take its toll on them and recently, two of them shattered when I took them from the dishwasher. I didn’t hold it against Duralex. Jus the stresses of daily use. So I replenished my stash.
I have owned Amalfi glasses for years, and just love them! I recently bought a set for my father, who thinks they are perfect for a shot of vodka, and loves them, too. They fit perfectly in your hand and are very durable and stylish. And I feel like I’m sitting in my favorite restaurant in Rome whenever I’m drinking out of them!

I have a larger oz size already but the smaller ones that I purchased recall the glasses my grandfather had at the dinner table for wine, and I am 75. These say simplicity and family to me. That’s a lot to wrap in one small glass.
