These stackable mugs are the perfect size for my morning coffee; they feel sturdy and excellent in the hand. Pendleton mug for size reference. My mom had Duralex plates, and we had them for decades!
I ordered mugs of various colors. They also had highly mixed quality. The sepia ones were the worst made. Half of them had a "line" directly across from the handle where it appears the glass was connected to itself. The line was both visible and tactile (that is, you could feel it). If I recall correctly, one of these also wobbled when placed on the table. But perhaps that was another color.

The line you described may be a natural result of the glassmaking process, but it absolutely should not impact functionality or aesthetic in a distracting way. I have not owned them long enough to attest to their durability- but Duralex has a good, longstanding reputation for a reason. Would definitely repurchase based on my experience so far. Plus, it's an employee-owned company.
The cups are great. Not too big, not too small, they are just right. The handle does not get hot; so, you can drink your hot beverage right after pouring. They are easy to clean and appear to be quite durable. They stack easily. All in all, we appreciate the cups and would buy again. I will also be purchasing as gifts.
These have a deeper color than the image shows, but I still like the color. Some of the glasses have "white" marks, like scratch marks, around the rim. Given they were on sale, I won't send back. Again, these are for hosting, and versatility--serving drinks, desserts, fruits, etc.
