I've been searching for the perfect dinnerware set for years.

My criteria included: visually appealing, easy to tell if it was clean, something I didn't have to worry about if it was leaching chemicals or cheaply made, would last for years and be durable and yet still appear delicate, could withstand daily use from children and seniors, and fit nicely in the dishwasher.

This set hit all the marks. Will be purchasing additional set for when I have guests.

I do hope there is a deep cereal and serving bowl added to the Lys lineup. The Le Gigogne bowls are also great - but having a matching Lys style would be even better.

*Note: before I purchase the set I had read a review that the plates were small. I disagree. We have had no issues. Unless you are eating a single oversized portion like you are at a buffet where they charge per plate - the plate sizes are are perfect and unlike some sets that are slightly larger this set fit in my cabinets and in my dishwasher.

Wonderful dish ware, simple and stylish, durable tempered glass that is not too heavy, very high quality, and safe with no lead, cadmium, arsenic, or mercury.

we really like the Lys plates and bowls. Attractive and sized great. Fits into dishwasher neatly.

I ordered the Sepia colored version and everything is great about them, except they really do need a larger dinner plate set included instead of the small tiny plates that can hold at most a muffin. Quality of the product is great but needs a larger sized plate to reach 5 stars.

They are safe (lead free, no paint…), super resistant, chip proof and they take 3 times less space than basic china dinnerware in my kitchen closet. I also love their size (on the smaller side), allowing to have seconds when needed. The soup plates are very versatile, they are ideal for my young kids. And my favorite thing : they are very lightweight! Total game changer for my family of 5.
